Host Agency Membership Application

NACTA offers the best Host agencies an exceptional opportunity to market and promote to independent and home based agents. Through various listings and media NACTA host agencies have found their membership extremely worthwhile. In addition, Host agency owners know that having their agents belong to NACTA will make them more productive and successful which leads to success for the Host agency.

NACTA has developed this program for the best host agencies that are looking for quality independents to grow their business. The minimum standards to qualify for this program are as follows:

You must have been in business as a host agency for at least one full year.
You must carry at lest one million dollars in Errors and Omissions Insurance or require all independents to maintain their own current policies.
Your average sales volume per independent agent must exceed $10,000.00.
There are no unresolved complaints against your agency.
You are committed to the development of a professional independent travel agent network.
You are registered to operate as a host agency with all local, state and federal governments as required.
You do not have a "recruitment program" whereby consumers recruit other consumers into the network as a higher priority than individual travel sales.
You do not offer a "Travel Agent Photo ID Card" for the purpose of consumers to obtain travel professional benefits.

	Statement of Liabilty and NACTA Membership Agreement This NACTA membership is valid for one year from the date processed. Additional marketing opportunities and membership level are payable separately. The National Association of Career Travel Agents neither guarantees nor insures that the service provided any officer, employee or member and shall assume no responsibility of liability for actions or events beyond its control in connection with services provided. Further Host Agency members agree to hold NACTA harmless for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, nonperformance, financial failure, or any other irregularity or consequences resulting from, which may be caused from the neglect, default, or any other action of association, company, carrier, independents contractor or person engaged in the service of NACTA. The annual membership dues will be billed automatically unless notified otherwise 30 days prior to expiration. Membership dues are non-refundable. Under Sections 6113 and 6710 of the Internal Revenue Code, we are required to inform you that contributions or gifts to NACTA are not deductive as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposed. However, your dues payment may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
